Crosslinking, also referred to as vulcanization, is a process to improve the properties of plastics and rubbers.

We are the world's largest producer of organic peroxides for the crosslinking of rubbers and thermoplastics. Our Trigonox® and Perkadox® organic peroxides are essential ingredients in manufacturing a wide variety of products, including automotive parts, golf ball cores, footwear soles, adhesive tapes, wire & cable and foamed products and many others.

Compared to sulfur vulcanization, organic peroxide cured elastomers exhibit superior physical properties, such as low compression set, improved heat resistance and rapid vulcanization without reversion.
